Great read! - I bought this as a throwaway to read on holiday and was absolutely hooked until the end. Fantastic plot, good solid characters, and very well written. This should definately be made into a film and I am now a confirmed fan - I will be buying more by Michael Palmer!
Super! - Wonderful medical thriller! I have yet to read a Palmer book that I didn t love! This one was no exception!
Surprising excellent read! - I am not one into mysteries OR medical-related novels, so this book was more of something to pass the time away with this summer..... WOW! I am surprised, it is a GOOD read. Palmer is an educated man... putrafication IS the only sure sign of death.... *S* and did you catch the little pun with Yossarian? *S* This is an excellent, quick-read. I am encouraged to look into more Palmer books.
Great Book - This is my second Palmer book and I loved it. First one was Silent Treatment which I loved too. I chose Extreme Measures because of the comments. It reminded me alot of Silent Treatment with the names among other things Maura/Laura and Loomis was mentioned here too. I was worried all his books would be the same and be predictable, which in a way it was, but it was still an exciting read that kept me going and had surprises.
Good fast-paced read - This was my first book by this author, and it won t be the last. What a great story!! I liked the characters and the plot. Definitely recommended.
